There is a MINIMUM of 6 hours put into each session, with an average being closer to 12-14. Please take this into account before trying to haggle costs with me or before saying I’m too expensive. I do offer some complimentary sessions when looking to expand my portfolio in certain areas. Those are usually announced on the blog and on our Facebook page.
Session
Each session begins with a conversation about what you’re looking for and a retainer fee to book my services. This will secure you an available time slot on my calendar for a specific date. Great local destinations include Carmel State Beach, central Monterey near El Estero Park, Lover’s Point and old Fort Ord. I also will begin offering studio sessions in my home in February-March 2012.

Our most economical package
45 minutes – 1 hour of shooting time at your choice of Lover’s Point or Fisherman’s Wharf/Marina

If a reschedule is necessary, please notify me 48 hours in advance. I am understanding if you or another member in the shoot becomes ill, however, my calendar only allows for a certain number of sessions per month. We will attempt reschedule up to 3 times, after which your retainer is forfeit (excepting weather reschedules).
Each session will offer a sneak preview on our Facebook page within a week of your shoot. I try to process images as quickly as possible, however, it may take up to 30 days for all of your images to be post-processed. This is generally not the case as I know families are anxious to have their images as soon as possible. After your images are posted in your Zenfolio album online you have 30 days to place an order with me. I offer several additional options for creative display and use of the images I take, including a hard-bound book and a video montage. These services are also offered for images you provide. Processing for these custom ordered items generally take 4-6 weeks.
Please note that I reserve all rights to the images I take. If you wish to opt-out of allowing me use of your images for my online portfolio, marketing, etc. please discuss this with me when booking your session. A photographer’s portfolio
is one of the most important things to securing clients. This is also one of the reasons all digital images are watermarked – to protect my art and my business as well as ensuring others don’t steal your images and call them theirs.
