One thing I love about photography is that there is always some unexpected, unplanned shot that can come about if you are patient enough. This image is one of the last I captured from Zoe’s session, and while it wasn’t what I was aiming for, I feel like it is quite beautiful.

This adorable little owl is the firstborn of a sweet spouse named Misty. She allowed me the opportunity to practice photographing her baby. Logan is 2 months old in these photos, and he was so tiny since he was born early!
This was my first experience photographing an infant, and it was a lot of hard work. Unfortunately, by the time I finally had everything figured out, Logan was only content in his mother’s arms.
This wonderful couple lives in my neighborhood. Jordan is in the Army and Courtney is his amazing wife. They are such dynamic, friendly people and during our shoot they were willing to try almost anything – including climbing in trees!
This sweet Army family and their 10 month old daughter blessed me with the opportunity to photograph them. Sierra requested some creatively developed pictures so it’s not your average pick for me! I hope you enjoy this beautiful life together.
Sienna is the daughter of a friend of mine. She has the most precious smile and the greatest little personality. I have the privelige of occasionally babysitting her and her brother, Xavier. I can’t help but snap a photo or two every now and then. Who can’t resist those ringlets?!
